Funny book, a little odd in places, but overall a good read. I found that the wisdom and teachings taken out of context of their books was, for me, ineffectual. In addition, the book is written in a way that will appeal to a broad audience, regardless of their specific religious or philosophic beliefs, and including both theists and atheists.. A historian tries to determine what events actually occurred and when, how and why they happened. All jokes aside, though, the net result is a rather awkward flow: a seemingly never-ending concatenation of ideas that, although related by theme, often contradict each other - by the author's own admission:
