REVIEW :
Other than that, I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the CHV.. I really liked the way the author organized it because it follows the immigrant women from the old country to America and very nicely describes their transition into Americans and the struggles they faced while doing this. He was obedient to a fault, smart, a proven leader, and, although his sexual urges were repressed, he craved validation and the admiration of men. I'm a Ford Model A fanatic and was really disappointed to find that this book was of no use to me at all. Only occasionally does he recognize his attraction to other men might be more than ideological, and, thank the lord, the man finally has his first gay sexual experience. If I ever get around to building a model railroad of the CV, the pictures in this book and the track drawings available at the Archives will be my complete guide.
