Specific information given on Lucas, Smiths, Weber, Stromberg, Zenith, Wilmot-Breeden, and other classic British component bits, and much of the information is generalizable to other manufacturer components, especially regarding restoration technique. The Wallages clearly know what they are talking about and their tips are invaluable to "proper" restoration. Ron has done a lot of research concerning the State Police, a great historian. He then tries to write about the events in as evenhanded and unbiased manner as possible. Ron Taylor did a great job writing the book. The Battle Plessey began the process by which the British conquered India. If you are restoring a British car this book will give you insightful, solid how-to information, especially relevant to postwar cars through the 60's.
