Is Pandora about to open up a box of trouble? One of the few mortals at Mount Olympus Academy, Pandora is famous for her mega quizzical nature--not that she thinks there's anything wrong with curiosity of course! Her curiosity kicks into high gear when a godboy named Epimetheus brings a mysterious box to school. He's the nephew of an MOA teacher in whose class Pandora once opened another box that sent a few weather disasters down to Earth. Still, Pandora can't help but take a peek inside this new box when it unexpectedly lands in her lap. What could be the harm in that, right? Little does she know that opening the box will open up far more trouble than she ever expected!
Editorial : From the Back Cover Authors Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams put a modern spin on classic myths with the Goddess Girls series. Follow the ins and outs of divine social life at Mount Olympus Academy, where the most privileged godboys and goddessgirls in the Greek pantheon hone their mythical skills.
He's fortunate enough to have a bevy of loyal pals along for this harrowing ride, including a boyfriend (Rich uses the pseudonym "Brandon" in the book) who is described more than once with the well-earned moniker of "saint." You'll scream as Rich betrays this boyfriend numerous times, then feel the depths of pity as he describes his horrific attempt at suicide. Each seasonal section starts with an overview of the characteristics of the season, the foods to be eating, foods to be avoiding, etc. Lottie is not really a teen but a college student finishing her senior year of college but I think that this book is something that teens will enjoy as well as older readers - I certainly did. I also suggest Dr. Got this for a present.definitely a hit! Good photograpy, good quality paper, and a variety of turtles! Plenty of room for writing notes on the calendar, like appointments and other things.
