It covers everything starting from the very basics. This book has a great history of the New Mexico State Police. This is not 'the advanced version'. For those who live a 9-5 life, and think they might need 'a real survival edge' if the lights go out, then buy this, read it, read it a dozen more times, and then put it in your 'gear' for later reference too.
As for pros, experts, seasoned 'survivalists', look elsewhere. I give this a 3-star rating because this significant factor is NOT mentioned in the advertisements for the book, where a writer with Lawson's background would know what I am saying to be true, to prevent 'remedial buys' from being made by others who could equally write such a work.
Good book if you are new to this, look elsewhere if you are looking to expand an existing knowledge base.. There are pictures to explain what the author is saying and cover
