Warning: plot spoilers ahead. Product was easy to find, review and purchase. It's a little bigger than your hand but does fit into your pocket. Yet whenever I returned to the US, I was struck by the uninformed and sneering US media descriptions of Europe as "sclerotic", "economic basketcase" etc. This brings to mind the saying "all it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing", and that certainly seems the case when the friendly elderly Japanese-American neighbor tries to warn Jane, but is afraid of sticking his neck out by being too explicit. They are not at all complex and all have ingredients that are easy to find in a grocery store. And he realizes that it had been with him since the moment he met his wife.
