REVIEW :

No gay person I know would ever have chosen to be gay, particularly given the hate and venom directed at gay people. This episode provides another turning point in the book, and sets the stage for the long road home to self-actualization.

I wish Rich spent a little time discussing his recovery from substance abuse. The most alarming characteristic of "A System at RISK" is the multitude of spelling and grammatical errors that exist within the publication. Unfortunately, this created some news around the batallion, almost tarnishing Rich's 14-year career only weeks before his retirement.

The Advocate followed-up the Times piece with a supportive story, identifying Rich by name. This book is well written and you can easily pick it up and go to the page you need. I had to force myself to put it down and get on with things I should have been doing instead. If you can wor
