This prequel was an answer to my prayers, a little taste to keep me going until the next instalment.
I am a sucker for the baddies, I love a good villain and Clotho- AKA Fate – is about as bad as they come. I'm an artist and artists always (ALWAYS) need a steady flow of inspiration and WIlliam Steig provides it. What is particularly galling about this book is the camp way that it is written. I don't know about the dressage circuit, but in hunter/jumpers, "junior" generally refers to someone between the ages of 13-18. I love those kind of books.
