"Look Left, Look Right, Look Left Again" is a Moonbeam Children's Book award winner for 2013"Look Left, Look Right, Look Left Again" is an award winning finalist from the International Book Awards (division of USA Book News)Whether it's crossing the road, a street or even a railroad track, Wally Waddlewater doesn't know the Rules of Safety for Crossing streets, roads or even tracks. But Wally must learn these Rules of Safety if he wants to mail a birthday card to his grandmother. Why? Because in order to get to the mail box he has to cross many of the busy streets of his town. Editorial : "As a children's librarian and a former preschool teacher, I am delighted to see this book! Less than a handful of books teach young children how to cross the street safely, and none, in my opinion, do it as well as this one. With a charming story, clever phrasing, and captivating illustrations, this book would be a welcome addition to every preschool and daycare facility's core collection of children's books.Teachers, librarians, community safety officers, parents and grandparents have a winner too.The characters are colorfully animated and the crossing chant is worth repeating (and dramatizing!). Just as the description states, it provides a step-by-step guide as to which steps to take and in which order. His path from fundametalism to being out, but still filled with self-hate, really hit home. It simply isn't logical that someone could chose to live a "lifestyle" that would result is so much pain and distress. If you want more, most of the books linked to this one will do a better job.. Nearly every entrepreneur faces a threat to the survival of their business that is so severe they have to wrestle with getting business, any business to survive. J
